Put Your Foot Down Walk Perth 2019

When: 10.00 am, Sunday, March 31,  2019

 

Meet, Start and Finish Point: BBQ area at the end of Douglas Avenue in Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth (see map)

 

Parking: There is parking in car parks in Sir James Mitchell Park, also there is a car park at the end of Douglas Avenue opposite the BBQ area.

 

Registration: $25 for all walkers 16+ years of age (Children 0-15 free)

 

Offline registration: Last minute registration is available on the day from 9.00 am, however, if possible, please register in advance to allow us to plan for expected numbers.

Registration is $25 which goes towards the fees and costs of running the event. Children under 16 are free!

When you register you automatically get a fundraising page – spread the word and ask your friends and family to support your walk.

It’s simplest if your team leader registers first and creates the team during the registration process.

  • Only 8.8% of Pancreatic Cancer patients survive beyond 5 years.

 

 

 

  • Median survival rate is between 3 and 6 months.

 

 

 

  • Each year more than 3,000 Australians are diagnosed and most are defeated by it.

 

 

 

  • It has one of the worst survival rates out of all cancers.
